National Debt

A few days ago, I learned that the national debt of the United States was increased by 2,000,000,000,000 dollars from the bailouts! That is not a typo! Two trillion dollars is almost three times the amount spent on the entire Iraq War. Is it really that necessary to put such a burden on our children and grandchildren? The politicians obviously think so, but I, on the other hand, do not.
